Description

The majority of rechargeable batteries, including IMR/Li-ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd batteries, are compatible with the Nitecore i2 battery charger Intellicharger from NiteCore. It is an automated smart charger that can be used anywhere. Three charging modes are available for the New i2: trickle charge, constant charge voltage (CV), and constant charge current (CC).
It is capable of simultaneously recharging two batteries, and its microcomputer-controlled charging ports allow one battery to be monitored and charged separately from the other. With an LED light display to indicate the current charging state, the i2 recognizes the condition of a battery and automatically chooses the proper charge mode.
The i2 has many safety features, including as reverse polarity protection, auto-shut-off for fully charged batteries, and over-charge protection. It is constructed from ABS, a material that is resistant to flames.
