Vaporesso SKRR QF Replacement Coils

Vaporesso SKRR QF coils are the original press-fit replacement coils for the Vaporesso SKRR and SKRR-S sub-ohm tank that shipped with the older Revenger, Revenger X, Polar and original Luxe high-wattage kits. Two resistances are available, both made for 60-90W direct-to-lung vaping with high-VG e-liquid.

The kits themselves are no longer manufactured by Vaporesso, but the QF coils stay in stock alongside the rest of the Vaporesso replacement coil range so owners of legacy SKRR hardware can keep it going. If your kit uses a newer pod platform, the alternative coils are listed further down.

QF Strip Coil (0.15 ohm)

The 0.15 ohm QF Strip uses a flat strip element that heats evenly across its full length. The result is a smoother, more rounded flavour profile with a slightly tighter cloud than the mesh coil. It vapes warmer at the same wattage and tends to be the preferred choice for DTL vapers who want flavour clarity over sheer vapour volume.

Sweet spot sits around 75W with the band from 65-85W. Pair with a 70VG or higher shortfill, fruit or dessert blends carry the warmth best.

QF Mesh Coil (0.2 ohm)

The 0.2 ohm QF Mesh uses a wider mesh element with more surface area in contact with the wick. Vapour production is denser, the draw sits slightly cooler, and the flavour profile lifts noticeably in the upper half of the wattage range. This is the more cloud-focused of the two QF coils.

Sweet spot sits around 70W with the band from 60-80W. Same 70VG or higher shortfill pairing, and menthol or fruit blends tend to ring the brightest through the mesh coil.

QF Coil Compatibility

Vaporesso SKRR QF coils fit the Vaporesso SKRR and SKRR-S sub-ohm tanks. Both QF resistances drop into the same socket and require no adapter. They do not fit any newer Vaporesso pod platforms.

Quick check: unscrew the tank from the mod and look at the base. If the tank is engraved SKRR or SKRR-S and the old coil pulls out with a press-fit thread pattern, a QF coil is the correct replacement.

Important ,Does NOT Fit Newer Vaporesso Platforms

QF coils do NOT fit the GTX, GTi, GTR, GT Mesh or COREX coil platforms used on every newer Vaporesso kit. If your kit is a Luxe X, Luxe XR, Armour G, Armour GS, GTX One Pro, XROS or Gen Max, the alternative coil section below points to the right replacement.

Both coils fit the same SKRR or SKRR-S tank and both want 70VG or higher shortfill. Nicotine salts and 50/50 freebase liquids are too thin at this wattage and will wick poorly. The shortfill e-liquid range covers the right viscosity.

Using a Different Vaporesso Tank?

QF coils only fit the SKRR and SKRR-S, they are not interchangeable with any other Vaporesso socket. On a different kit you will want GTX coils for Luxe and Armour pod kits, GTi for the iTank, GTR for the FORZ tank or GT Mesh for older NRG tanks, all in the full Vaporesso coil range.
