These are 2ml capacity pod cartridges and have the coil inside, and are a perfect replacement for the version included with the kit.

These are official OXVA pods made perfectly for use with the Xlim DNA Anti Burn Series pod devices requiring pod cartridges. These pod kits use a sealed pod cartridge, the coil cannot be replaced separately.

How does the DNA Chip + Stainless Steel Cartridge Prevents Dry Hits? 
Stainless steel is a temperature-sensitive material; its electrical resistance increases predictably with heat. The DNA chip uses this characteristic to monitor the real-time temperature of the heating coil with high precision.

When the e-liquid in the cartridge begins to run low or evaporate too quickly, the coil heats up faster than normal. The DNA chip detects this abnormal rise in temperature via resistance changes and instantly adjust power, preventing the coil from overheating;— and thereby avoiding the burnt taste commonly known as a dry hit.

After changing your pod/coil, it is important to prime the new coil to prevent burning the wicking material inside it. Fully fill the pod with e-liquid and leave the new coil to soak for 5-10 minutes before use.
