Description
Vaperz Cloud VC Tech Coils
The Vaperz Cloud VC Tech coils are a set of premium mesh replacement coils built around a combination of wood pulp cotton and Vaperz Cloud’s own VC mesh strips. The wood pulp cotton is slower to break down than standard cotton and holds its flavour longer, which means you get more life out of each coil before the burnt note sets in. T
he honeycomb airflow pattern inside the coil accelerates air through the mesh, which gives a notably clean and fast flavour hit compared to standard coil construction. Four resistance options cover the full range from tight MTL at 0.8Ω up to cloud-chasing DTL at 0.15Ω, and the coils are press-fit so installation is straightforward.
They are primarily designed for the Vaperz Cloud Shift Boro Tank, but because they use the same format as Voopoo PnP and Vaporesso GTX coils, they fit a wide range of popular sub-ohm tanks and AIOs. Each pack contains four coils.
VC Tech Coil Variants
0.15Ω VC Tech Mesh Coil
The highest-output option in the VC Tech range, built for full DTL (direct-to-lung) vaping with maximum vapour production. The 0.15Ω coil fires at 55-65W and needs a high-VG e-liquid – shortfills at 60-70% VG or higher. At this resistance you get the densest clouds and the most vapour-driven flavour of the four variants, comparable to building your own coil on a rebuildable deck. The draw is fully open and unrestricted. Requires a regulated mod capable of sub-ohm firing and batteries rated for the current draw.
- Resistance: 0.15Ω
- Wattage range: 55-65W
- Draw style: DTL (direct-to-lung)
- E-liquid: high-VG shortfill, 60-70%+ VG
0.2Ω VC Tech Mesh Coil
Still a sub-ohm DTL coil but with a slightly tighter draw and lower wattage requirement than the 0.15Ω. The 0.2Ω fires at 45-55W and is a good middle-ground option for vapers who want strong vapour and flavour without pushing their mod to its upper limits. High-VG e-liquid is still required. This is often the most popular variant in the VC Tech range because it delivers the rebuildable-quality flavour the coil is known for while remaining accessible to a wider range of mods and batteries.
- Resistance: 0.2Ω
- Wattage range: 45-55W
- Draw style: DTL (direct-to-lung)
- E-liquid: high-VG shortfill, 60–70%+ VG
0.4Ω VC Tech Mesh Coil
The 0.4Ω coil sits in RDL (restricted direct-to-lung) territory – more airflow than a traditional MTL draw but not as wide open as the lower-resistance DTL options. It fires at 35–45W. At this resistance you can use 50/50 e-liquids, nic salts or freebase shortfills. This is the most versatile coil in the range and suits vapers who want strong flavour without the full cloud output of the 0.15Ω or 0.2Ω options. It is also the lowest power sub-ohm variant, making it the safest step down from standard wattage vaping if you are new to higher-output coils.
- Resistance: 0.4Ω
- Wattage range: 35-45W
- Draw style: RDL (restricted direct-to-lung)
- E-liquid: 50/50 or nic salt; high-VG shortfills also fine
0.8Ω VC Tech Mesh Coil
The only above-ohm option in the range and the one designed for MTL (mouth-to-lung) vaping. The 0.8Ω fires at 10-20W, which puts it well within the output range of most pod mods and lower-wattage regulated devices. The draw is cigarette-tight and the vapour output is discreet. At this resistance you can use 50/50 e-liquids or nic salts, and the wood pulp cotton construction still gives the flavour quality the range is built on. If you are using nic salts at 10-20mg, this is the most appropriate coil in the VC Tech lineup.
- Resistance: 0.8Ω
- Wattage range: 10-20W
- Draw style: MTL (mouth-to-lung)
- E-liquid: 50/50 or nic salt, 10–20mg
Compatible Devices
The VC Tech coils are designed primarily for the Vaperz Cloud Shift Boro Tank but use the same press-fit format as Voopoo PnP and Vaporesso GTX coils, which gives them broad compatibility across a wide range of popular devices.
- Vaperz Cloud Shift Boro Tank
- Vaperz Cloud VC Tech Tank
- Vaperz Cloud SAN AIO
- Vaperz Cloud Pixel AIO
- Suicide Mods Tallboy Stubby Tank (Tech Mesh version)
- Any device compatible with Voopoo PnP coils
- Any device compatible with Vaporesso GTX coils
If you are unsure whether your device accepts PnP or GTX coils, check the original coil packaging or the device manual. If it does, the VC Tech coils will fit.
Priming Your Coils
Before using a new VC Tech coil, prime it properly or the wood pulp cotton will dry-burn on first use, producing a harsh burnt taste that can be difficult to fully recover from. Press the coil into the tank, add a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton through the top of the coil, fill the tank or pod, and wait at least 5-10 minutes before firing. This gives the cotton time to fully saturate. Start at the lower end of the wattage range and work up – this is especially important with the 0.15Ω and 0.2Ω variants where the wattage range is high.
Sub-ohm coils (0.15Ω, 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω) require a regulated mod and batteries with appropriate continuous discharge ratings. Do not use these coils in unregulated or hybrid mechanical mods unless you have the technical knowledge to do so safely.
