Vaperz Cloud Ascent Lite 200W Mod

The Vaperz Cloud Ascent Lite is a dual 18650 box mod that delivers up to 200W from a CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminium body compact enough to sit in a shirt pocket. It runs on the VC Custom Chipset, which handles Variable Power, Bypass, and Temperature Control modes, and the 0.96-inch LCD display is fully customisable so you can set it up to show exactly what you want at a glance.

The 510 connection accepts atomisers up to 30mm flush, making it a good match for larger sub-ohm tanks as well as RDAs. Two 18650 batteries are required and sold separately, and there is no onboard USB charging – batteries need to be removed and charged externally.

Power and Output

The Ascent Lite runs from 5W up to 200W in Variable Power mode, with the adjustment range covering everything from a flavour-focused MTL setup to a full sub-ohm cloud build. Bypass mode removes the wattage regulation entirely and fires directly off battery voltage, giving the device a more mechanical-style response. Temperature Control mode is also available for those running Ni, Ti, or SS coils. The VC Custom Chipset fires quickly, maintains consistent output as the batteries discharge, and handles the safety protections in the background without any intervention needed from you.

Build and Battery Access

The body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, which keeps the weight low despite the dual-battery format. Without batteries the mod comes in at around 102g and measures roughly 80.5 x 40 x 31mm. The battery door uses a slide trap-door mechanism rather than a screw-off cap – push to release, load the 18650s with the indicated polarity, and slide it back in to secure. There is no USB-C port on this mod; batteries need to come out and go into an external charger. If you are picking this up for the first time and don’t already have 18650s and a charger, factor those into your order.

Display and Controls

The 0.96-inch LCD sits on the front face of the mod and shows wattage, resistance, and battery levels as standard. The display is customisable – you can adjust colours and the layout through the settings menu. Two adjustment buttons below the screen handle wattage changes and mode switching, keeping the control layout simple. The fire button is large and sits on the side of the mod where it falls naturally under your thumb.

Atomiser Compatibility

The 510 connection accepts tanks and RDAs up to 30mm in diameter without any overhang. This covers the full Vaperz Cloud tank range as well as most of the larger rebuildables on the market. Anything over 30mm will overhang the deck, which is worth knowing before pairing it with a wider RDA. The mod ships without a tank, so pair it with whatever you’re already running or pick up a tank separately.
