Description
Vaporesso GTi Replacement Coils
Vaporesso GTi coils are sub-ohm lattice mesh replacement coils made for the iTank 2 and iTank T sub-ohm tanks. The range covers six SKUs across two mesh types.
Four standard lattice mesh resistances (0.15, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.5 ohm) sit alongside two dual mesh options in 0.2 and 0.4 ohm. Every coil ships in a five-pack within the wider Vaporesso replacement coil collection.
The lattice mesh design is the headline engineering choice on every GTi coil. Instead of a single flat strip, the wire is woven into a tighter cross-hatch grid that spreads heat evenly across the wicking. That weave slows down coil burnout and keeps flavour clean from the first puff through to the last drop in the tank.
GTi is the iTank platform sub-ohm DTL and RDL coil range, so every resistance sits under 1 ohm and performs best on high-VG e-liquid. If your Vaporesso kit came with an iTank 2 or iTank T screwed onto the mod, these are the right replacement coils.
Key Features
- Lattice Mesh Weave cross-hatch heating grid spreads heat evenly for cleaner flavour and longer coil life.
- Six Resistance Options 0.15, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.5 ohm standard plus 0.2 and 0.4 ohm dual mesh.
- Standard or Dual Mesh Types dual mesh layers two strips at the same resistance for thicker vapour.
- Sub-Ohm Tuned DTL and RDL only, with no MTL option in the GTi range.
- High-VG E-Liquid Match matched to 70/30 and max VG shortfills.
- Press-Fit Install push the coil straight into the iTank base, no threading or tools.
- 5 Coils Per Pack sold as a five-pack across every resistance.
GTi Coil Compatibility
Vaporesso GTi coils fit the iTank 2 and the iTank T sub-ohm tanks. Any current Vaporesso mod kit that ships with one of those tanks takes GTi coils as a like-for-like replacement.
The GTi platform is sub-ohm only, so the resistance range tops out at 0.5 ohm. There is no MTL coil and no 0.3 ohm option in the GTi line.
Currently Stocked Compatible Kits

Compatible Tanks
- Vaporesso iTank 2 sub-ohm tank
- Vaporesso iTank T sub-ohm tank
Important Compatibility Notes
GTi coils do not fit Vaporesso GTX pod kits like the Luxe X3, Armour G, Armour GS or GTX One Pro. Those use the GTX coil platform instead, which uses a different coil socket. If your kit takes a pod cartridge or an xTank T rather than an iTank, see the Vaporesso GTX coils page for the right fitment.
Choosing the Right Coil Platform
GTi and GTX are two separate Vaporesso coil platforms and they are not cross-compatible. The simple rule is to match the coil platform to your tank or pod, not the kit name.

If you swap between an iTank sub-ohm setup and a Vaporesso pod kit, you will need both GTi and GTX coils on hand. Neither coil platform fits the COREX pods on the Vaporesso XROS family or the Luxe X COREX 2.0 pods.
GTi Coil Resistance Guide
DTL Coils (0.15 ohm and 0.2 ohm)
|
Coil |
Wattage |
E-Liquid |
|
GTi Mesh 0.15 ohm |
75-90W |
Max VG, high VG |
|
GTi Mesh 0.2 ohm |
60-75W |
High VG, shortfills |
|
GTi Dual Mesh 0.2 ohm |
60-75W |
Max VG, high VG |
The 0.15 ohm pushes the thickest clouds in the GTi range and sits at the warmest end of the wattage band. It also chews through e-liquid quickest, so pair it with max VG shortfill e-liquids and keep the tank topped up.
The 0.2 ohm standard is the most popular everyday GTi DTL choice. It pairs punchy flavour with a longer lifespan than the 0.15 ohm at typical wattages.
The 0.2 ohm dual mesh sits at the same wattage band but layers two strips for richer vapour density. Pick it if you want extra cloud without dropping resistance.
RDL Coils (0.4 ohm and 0.5 ohm)
|
Coil |
Wattage |
E-Liquid |
|
GTi Mesh 0.4 ohm |
50-60W |
70/30 VG/PG |
|
GTi Dual Mesh 0.4 ohm |
50-60W |
70/30 VG/PG |
|
GTi Mesh 0.5 ohm |
30-45W |
70/30 VG/PG |
The 0.4 ohm still gives decent vapour with a slightly tighter restricted draw than the DTL options. It is the best entry point if you are stepping up from a pod kit and don’t want a full open-airflow chest hit. The 0.4 ohm dual mesh holds the same wattage range as the standard 0.4 ohm but produces noticeably more cloud thanks to the twin mesh layout.
The 0.5 ohm is the coolest, lowest-wattage option in the GTi range and pairs neatly with restricted DTL pulls on 70/30 e-liquid. It is the most forgiving coil in the range and tends to last longest between swaps.
