I Tank T by Vaporesso

The Vaporesso iTank T is the brand’s current 5ml sub-ohm tank, based around a sliding top fill, 3D honeycomb top airflow and a dedicated condensation catch beneath the coil seat. It targets warm DTL and RDL vaping on 70VG shortfill, takes the GTi coil platform and ships with both a 0.2 ohm and 0.4 ohm coil already in the box.

If you prefer a tighter mouth-to-lung or restricted DTL draw on the GTX platform instead, the sister tank in the lineup, the slim XTank T MTL tank, covers that side of the fence on the same 510 mods.

Warm Sub-Ohm DTL and RDL Vaping

The 3D honeycomb top airflow is the headline change on the iTank T. Air enters through a ring of small honeycomb slots on the upper barrel rather than the wide single slot used on older sub-ohm tanks. The result is a smoother, quieter draw at higher wattage and a noticeably warmer vapour body between 30W and 90W. Flavour holds together at the upper end where older designs tended to thin out.

The condensation catch underneath the coil is the second meaningful change. A recessed well is set below the coil seat and traps the liquid that normally pools on the 510 pin and drips down onto the mod. For shortfill vapers on 70VG or higher, that means fewer wet pockets, fewer sticky mod tops and a longer gap between strip-downs.

Which Replacement Coils Fit the iTank T

The iTank T takes the full GTi mesh coil platform. Two heads ship in the box (0.2 ohm and 0.4 ohm) and the rest of the head pool is stocked as genuine Vaporesso replacement coils for ongoing use. Resistance options sit firmly in the warm DTL band the tank is based around, all mesh, all press-fit and all sub-ohm.

Generational Upgrades over the Original iTank

Three things separate the iTank T from the original iTank and iTank 2. Airflow has moved from a single bottom slot to the 3D honeycomb top intake, which kills the leaking and gurgling early sub-ohm tanks were known for. The condensation catch beneath the coil seat is brand new and removes the slow drip onto the 510 pin. The sliding top fill replaces the threaded cap, so there is no cross-threading and no lid to lose.

How to Fill and Change Coils

• Slide the top cap across to open the fill port
• Add high-VG shortfill down the inside wall to the fill line
• Slide shut and stand upright for 5 minutes to wick
• GTi coils press into the base, keyed to seat one way; unscrew the base to swap
