The VOOPOO Vinci E120 is a high-powered pod kit with a 4500mAh built-in battery and a maximum output of 120W, making it one of the most capable pod systems currently available. It sits in the gap between a traditional pod vape and a box mod: physically compact and straightforward to use, but with the battery capacity and power output normally associated with a dual-18650 mod setup.

The device is built around VOOPOO’s PnP X coil platform and includes the Vinci DTL pod with a 0.3 Ohm coil pre-installed and a 0.15 Ohm coil in the box. A 2.44-inch TFT colour screen dominates the front face and doubles as a customisable clock display. The Vinci E120 is suited to vapers who want direct-to-lung performance and all-day battery life from a single device, without needing to carry spare cells or a separate charger throughout the day.

4500mAh Battery and 120W Output

The Vinci E120’s 4500mAh battery is larger than what a single 18650 or 21700 cell provides, and sits at the top end of what any current pod system offers. At moderate daily wattages in the 30 to 50W range, most vapers can expect several days of use between charges. Running the 0.15 Ohm coil at higher wattages significantly reduces that figure, but even at 60 to 80W the battery outlasts most comparable devices by a considerable margin. The 120W ceiling is higher than any available PnP X coil requires; the most power-hungry included coil tops out at 80W, so in practice the device runs well within its maximum output for everyday use. Charging is via Type-C at 5V/2A and takes roughly two hours for a full charge from empty. Passthrough vaping is supported, so the device can be used while connected to charge.

Smart Coil Detection

The GENE TT 2.0 chip reads the resistance of the fitted coil automatically when the pod is inserted and sets a recommended starting wattage. It also applies an upper wattage limit based on the coil to prevent the output from being set so high that it burns the coil prematurely. This makes the Vinci E120 approachable for vapers who are new to DTL vaping or switching from a lower-powered setup, as the device does the initial calibration work for you. Wattage can still be adjusted manually from 5 to 120W once the Smart mode has set its recommendation, giving more experienced vapers full control.

2.44-Inch TFT Screen and Clock Themes

The large TFT screen on the front of the Vinci E120 displays wattage, coil resistance, battery percentage, puff count, and puff duration. A few seconds after vaping, the display switches to a clock screensaver, turning the device into a functional timepiece when it is sitting on a desk or surface. Eighteen clock face themes are available in total, though only two are unlocked out of the box. Further themes unlock by reaching puff count milestones: 100 puffs, 500 puffs, 1,000 puffs, and then every 1,000 puffs from there up to 13,000, with the final theme at 18,000. The clock themes are genuinely well-designed and varied. The time and display duration can be adjusted through the settings menu.

Physical Lock Switch and Stepless Airflow

The Vinci E120 uses a dedicated physical slide switch on the side of the device to lock the fire button, rather than relying on a five-click power sequence. Sliding it to the locked position prevents the device from firing in a pocket or bag without any button interaction required. On the opposite side of the device, a second slider controls the airflow steplessly: push it fully open for a loose, airy DTL draw, or close it progressively for a more restricted RDTL vape. There are no fixed click positions, so the draw can be set to any point in the range. The DTL pod in the kit has a wide mouthpiece better suited to open DTL and RDTL draws; a dedicated MTL pod with tighter airflow is available separately.

Vinci PnP X DTL Pod and Coils

The Vinci DTL pod holds 2ml of e-liquid in the UK TPD version and fills via a side-fill port with a silicone seal tab. The pod connects to the device via strong magnets and sits without any wobble in normal use. Coils are replaced by removing the pod and pressing the old coil out from the base with no unscrewing required. Two PnP X mesh coils are included:

• PnP X 0.3 Ohm: Rated 32 to 42W. Pre-installed in the pod. Suited to RDTL and moderate DTL vaping with the airflow partially restricted. Produces strong flavour at a wattage that is kinder to battery life. Works well with high-VG shortfills and 60/40 e-liquids in the 30 to 40W range.
• PnP X 0.15 Ohm: Rated 60 to 80W. Best suited to fully open DTL vaping at higher wattages. Produces high vapour volume and a warm, dense draw. Requires high-VG shortfills to wick effectively. Most reviewers found a sweet spot around 45 to 65W for the best balance of flavour and battery draw.

Both coils are rated for up to 100ml of e-liquid usage before replacement. The Vinci E120 is compatible with all PnP X coils, giving a wide range of additional resistance options available to buy separately. The Vinci MTL pod (sold separately) suits RDL and MTL vaping styles with tighter airflow and lower-wattage coils such as the PnP X 0.6 Ohm and 0.8 Ohm.

Build Quality and Design

The Vinci E120 is constructed from aluminium alloy and polycarbonate, which gives it a solid, premium feel without the weight of an all-metal device. It measures 115 x 23.6 x 46.6mm, a flat rectangular slab profile that fits reasonably in a front trouser pocket despite housing such a large battery. The anodised finish has a slight matte texture that provides a natural grip. Physical controls include the fire button, two wattage adjustment buttons, the lock switch, and the airflow slider. All switchgear is aluminium, matching the chassis rather than being substituted for cheaper plastic components. The device is button-fired only and does not support draw activation, reflecting its sub-ohm DTL focus.
